I use a treatment approach that is collaborative, warm, relational, accepting and authentic.  I am action-oriented and solution-focused and utilize evidence based interventions to assist individuals in creating the changes they desire in their lives.

I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with substance and behavioral addictions, depression and anxiety, life transitions, in addition to parenting and relationship issues. I have developed and implemented programs to address substance abuse for adolescents and their families.

I have 15 years of experience combined working as a psychologist and conducting social work within the child welfare field. I have expertise working within the juvenile justice, family, and mental health court systems. I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University and completed my internship and residency at Marin County Health & Human Services and Kaiser Permanente. I have also served as a supervisor to postdoctoral level fellows in addition to master’s level interns.
